Treatment of chronic generalised periodontitis.

During the first visit, professional dental hygiene was carried out, a periodontal chart was drawn up, and the patient was given guidance on personalised oral hygiene at home.

This was followed by scaling (removal of subgingival dental deposits) and further hygiene instruction.

The dental deposits were almost imperceptible at first glance, but the patient was greatly troubled by constant, severe bleeding of the gums and an unpleasant odour.

In the last two photos, we can see the difference in the condition of the gums on the lower jaw. The bleeding, swelling and redness have disappeared.
