Let’s help children together

Thanks to the support of Astra Dent, children at Okhmatdyt Hospital will now be able to receive treatment using a linear accelerator.

In April, we were approached by representatives of the Okhmatdyt Children’s Hospital for help. Six months later, the uninterruptible power supply for the linear accelerator failed, causing cost-effective radiation equipment to malfunction. During the operation of the device 170 children from all over the country underwent 2552 procedures on this device.

The situation was critical, because in the event of a breakdown of the linear accelerator, children will either be forced to undergo treatment on old and prohibited by international protocols pediatrics devices, or remain without treatment at all.

The network of dentists “Astra Dent” could not stay away from this problem. Despite the quarantine and difficulties experienced by the entire business of the country, we decided to help children. So far, a new uninterruptible power supply worth almost half a million hryvnias has already taken its place in the hospital.

This is also possible thanks to you, our patients — your trust, loyalty to our network. Thanks to our joint support, children with cancer from all over Ukraine have the opportunity to receive a necessary and vital procedure.
