The probability is high, because this disease is typical of almost a third of the world’s population, both adults and children, regardless of gender.

In addition to sleepless nights for the loved ones, bruxism means a number of complications for the person with parafunction of the masticatory muscles:

1) changes in the periodontium (periodontitis, periodontal disease);

2) feeling of tension and pain in the chewing muscles in the morning;

3) increased abrasion of hard teeth tissues;

4) facial asymmetry;

5) restriction of mouth opening;

6) destruction of dental restorations, loss of dental implants and a reduction in the service life of orthopedic structures.
