Special price Implant full package, Megagen AnyOne, Korea with ceramic crown

Dental implants are a surgical procedure in which artificial tooth roots (implants) are inserted into the jaw to replace missing teeth. This procedure can be performed using different types of implants, which can be made of different materials and different designs.

What does this package include?

In general, a dental implant package usually includes the following services:

  • a preliminary consultation with a doctor, including an assessment of the condition of the teeth and jaw, as well as a discussion of various implant options
  • dental implantation, including the implant itself and the surgery to install it
  • necessary X-rays and other procedures related to implantation;
  • postoperative care, including prescription of medications and recommendations for dental care after surgery;
  • follow-up consultations with your doctor to check the condition of your teeth and evaluate the success of the procedure.

Steps included in the package:

  • The dental implant procedure usually goes through several stages, which include
  • Preliminary consultation: at this stage, the doctor examines and diagnoses the patient to determine whether dental implants are suitable for the case. The doctor may also order additional X-rays or CT scans to get more detailed information about the anatomy of the jaw and teeth;
  • planning of the procedure: based on the results of the diagnosis, the doctor makes an individual plan for dental implantation, including the choice of the optimal type of implant, placement, orientation and depth;
  • implant placement: at this stage, the doctor performs an operation to place the implant in the jaw. This can be done under both general and local anesthesia. After that, the doctor closes the wound and the waiting period begins, when the implant integrates with the jawbone tissue;
  • examination: a few weeks after the implant placement, the patient comes for an examination so that the doctor can check how the healing process is progressing;
  • installation of the screw and abutment: when the implant is fully healed, the doctor installs a special screw on it to hold the abutment. The abutment is a metal connecting element between the implant and the dental crown;
  • prosthetics: at this stage, the abutment is replaced by a dental crown, which can be made of different materials (for example, ceramic or metal). The crown is firmly attached to the abutment, forming a new tooth;
  • regular check-ups: after prosthetics, the doctor prescribes regular check-ups to monitor the condition of the implant and dental crown and give recommendations for their care.

The steps may vary depending on the specific situation and the implantation techniques used. In any case, following the individualized plan drawn up by the doctor and taking proper care of the implanted teeth are important factors for a successful and long-term implantation result.

Patients are advised to carefully monitor their oral hygiene, brush their teeth regularly, floss and use mouthwash. It is also advisable to avoid loading the implants associated with improper use of the jaw (for example, biting hard objects, chewing ice, constricted chewing function). Compliance with these rules will help to preserve the implants for many years.

Why can the cost vary?

The cost of dental implants may be more expensive than expected, depending on a number of factors related to the patient’s specific situation and the procedure being performed.

Some of the possible situations that can lead to additional costs include

  • additional diagnostic tests: the doctor may recommend additional tests, such as a CT scan or X-ray, to get a more accurate picture of the jaw and teeth anatomy. This may entail additional costs;
  • the need for additional surgical work: sometimes, when there is not enough bone in the jaw, additional surgical procedures such as bone augmentation may be necessary. This can increase the cost of dental implants;
  • the need to use additional materials: in some cases, it may be necessary to use additional materials, such as membranes or bone, to improve the healing process. This may result in additional costs;
  • use of more expensive implants or materials: some patients may choose more expensive implants or materials for crowns. This can increase the cost of implantation;
  • case complexity: some implant cases may be more complex than others, which may require more time and labor on the part of the doctor. This can also affect the cost of the procedure.

In any case, before starting the dental implantation procedure, the doctor should conduct a detailed consultation and explain to the patient all possible factors that may affect the cost of the procedure so that the patient is prepared for possible additional costs.

Please note the additional fees may be charged for:

  • temporary abutment and crown (if required);
  • surgical templates and impressions (if required).
