Diagnostics for Invisalign
Before starting bite treatment with the Invisalign system, the patient must undergo special diagnostics.
The first stage is a 3D scan or impression of the jaw. They are needed to predict the exact outcome and all stages of treatment.
The set of aligners is made in the USA, therefore the diagnostic stage is extremely important.
The results of the scan or digitized analog fingerprint along with photos of the patient are uploaded to a special program from Invisalign — ClinCheck. The treatment plan is created and the results are predicted in this program.
Immediately after the ClinCheck treatment plan is created, the production of a set of aligners begins. Their number and duration of treatment depends on what outcome is planned.
