Short-term sedation
Astra Dent network offers short-term sedation, which lasts not more than 30 minutes.
Possible dental procedures under the given type of anesthesia:
- extraction of milk teeth;
- frenulum ectomy;
- primary caries of one tooth;
- in case of adults’ panic attacks.
Who prescribes short-term sedation?
The decision about carrying out short-term sedation is taken by the treating dentist and doctor-anesthesiologist. It all depends on the amount of dental treatment planned and the patient’s health.
