How does an ultrasonic scaler work?
The thin nozzle of the device under the action of ultrasound creates oscillations with a frequency of about 30,000 per second. A special gel is applied to the surface of the teeth, when the scaler comes into contact with this gel, small oxygen bubbles are released, which destroy the deposits.
